Krakow.Winter. Love.

    My first trip this year was to a beautiful Krakow. Not my first time at this city, but first with my husband. It is such a charming European city, and especially in winter, when everything looks like in a fairy-tale. The atmosphere is unforgettable. The smell of coffee and just baked breads, the noise at the square market full of beautiful souvenirs, friendly Polish people and amazing historical heritage make Krakow fantastic destination for holidays.

    Feeling great while exploring the castle. It has so many exhibitions that is not possible to see them all in one day. I didn't visit all of them, but visited a lot. And it's definitely worth it. It has so many royal rooms full of art masterpieces. 

    On me that day: Zara beret, Orsay coat and Sfera pants. Everything warm and comfortable, perfect for January in Poland.

    Just feeling loved.

    After interesting excursions throughout the city, comes the evening, the time of lights, stars, kisses, warm drinks and amazing food.  You can eat straight at the square: roasted pork, sausages or grilled vegetables (if someone is vegetarian). The smells and the crowds around don't let you just pass by.

        

    After tiring day, time for some shopping...All the exhaustion is gone. Recommend for everybody - Galeria Krakowska, huge mall with all the brands you might desire, food places and cafeterias. Right in the centre of the city. At this time of the year we could enjoy the main Christmas tree and the open skating rink just in front of the main entrance.

  

    And that was a time for a final cocktail:) Love you Krakow, see you soon...

Eclat Matissime from GIVENCHY

    Today I want to write a small review about a really great foundation I've been trying out recently. Eclat matissime fluid foundation from GIVENCHY is amazingly light mattyfing product, that I absolutely fell in love with. 

    First thing we all notice and pay attention is obviously the packaging. The packaging is very nice, black and classy, you feel that this is a high end product.

    The texture of a foundation is really airy-light as the packaging says. I don't feel anything on my skin after applying this one. I find it quite similar to Dior Nude foundation, which I absolutely love as well. It has a slight scent which I personally adore. It smells so nice, light, not annoying at all.

    I purchased it in a colour 3 Mat Sand, before I got tanned, so now I find it a bit too light for my skin. If you have some serious issues with your skin, I don't think this will work for you. It doesn't work for full and heavy coverage. It's absolutely perfect for daytime, cause it's also has SPF 20.

Back to Black

    Love the length of the dress, which is not too short and I believe it fits me well. Can wear it for casual occasions and sometimes for a night out.

The Benefits we get

    I am absolutely sure that everybody who likes cosmetics heard about this brand and has at least one thing from it.  The brand gets fans all over the planet, probably more and faster than any other. If the shop with make up products has BENEFIT seen from outside, I'm sure it will get successful. At SEPHORA's display with Benefit there are always people.

    What makes it so popular? I would say packaging. Which young girl could pass by these colourful displays with cute boxes with bronzers and blushes, huge variety of products for eyebrows, pictures of girls at Porefessional primer or powder, the eyeliner or mascara that promises to do something unbelievable with your eyes...

    Personally I got by now only 2 products from BENEFIT: Hello Flawless Foundation in a colour Honey and They're Real! mascara. Also in pack of foundation I found the tester of Stay Flawless primer, which I didn't find so nice. Maybe I just didn't understand how to use it, but anyway it was too hard to get it from that small package it was in.

    So I want to get back to the foundation. I was running out of my old foundation, so I went to Sephora without any idea what I would purchase. The girl suggested me Benefit, swatched the colour to my neck and it was perfect for me. The texture is great, I usually put it with a make up sponge and it blends very nice. You can create a very light coverage or more full coverage depends how you like it or need it. Foundation lasts for many hours. It has a slight scent, but it's not annoying at all. I am absolutely satisfied with this foundation.

   

    I didn't buy mascara the same day, but eventually I got it also. At the beginning I didn't like it all. What I want from mascara is volume, but while using this one I could see only some additional length. I compare all the mascaras to my number 1 must have Yves Saint Laurent Volume Effet Faux Cils, and I simply cannot find anything with similar effect. I know that millions of girls and women all over the world adore this mascara. I'm just not that much into it. I was trying to like it, and can say I like it more now than from the beginning. The big plus is that it doesn't smudge and stays in place for whole day.

Some of the hair care

    Everybody of us has these hard days when you wake up late and have no time for shower, and hair looks so greasy that you don't know how to deal with it. Especially at this time of year, when it's so cold around that taking shower sometimes becomes a challenge. It's so easy to get a cold or flue. That's why I decided to buy and try dry shampoo for the first time (probably it sounds too old-fashioned). I just never thought I would use one. 

 

    But as the first cold came to Greece I started using this TONI&GUY Cleanse Dry Shampoo. Unfortunately I cannot compare it with others that come appearing at Greek drug stores, but the reason I picked this one is because it's not the first product I buy from this brand. I am really satisfied.

    The first time I used this one, I got so excited, I saw my hair getting cleaned on my eyes. The next times I was using it, my excitement was not so huge. But as far as I know every dry shampoo gives you that unbelievable volume. The same about this one. I don't remember myself having so much volume. This I definitely like. The minus that I've noticed is that it doesn't last for the whole day. After using it in the morning, in the afternoon I was feeling my hair a bit greasy.  

    Another thing I wanted to mention is Grapeseed Glossing Serum from BODY SHOP. I have it like more than 2 years and it's not even about to finish. I don't know if they still have it at the shops. But this thing is absolutely fantastic. If you want to moisturise your hair and add that shine it's going to work amazing for you. After using it all over my hair from the roots to the ends I saw the glow, highlight in my hair, like straight after salon. I prefer to use it before washing my hair, because it feels oily, so it's important to wash it very well with shampoo. Definitely recommend it.

Simply Milan

This cold autumn day brought my memories back to one of the most exciting trip in my life. The first real trip I made with my husband. To Milan. A sort of a honeymoon...Almost a year passed but memories are so fresh. Or maybe I'm just planning our next trip to amazing Italy.

  Exploring roof of Duomo with Bershka Jacket, ZARA Shorts, MIGATO boots and AXEL bag. Was very lucky to enjoy warm and sunny Milan in the middle of November.

  I believe everybody who sees Duomo gets amazed and impressed for long. So I am. And inside the cathedral it's not less great than from outside.

Of course, it's not possible to pass by Vittorio Emanuele Galeria. The place where you see shoppers from all over the world. And from where you can choose your way for spending money. Everything depends on your wallet. But, I believe, Milan is a home for shopping-addicted because it has absolutely everything, and even wandering around Duomo you can find very budget friendly shops with nice things. So, don't get disappointed if you can not afford original Louis Vuitton bag. You might find great Italian leather bag or shoes for quite good price.  

 
Got excited and inspired for the whole year I believe, probably until my next trip to Italy.

I could probably write the whole article about Italian food and coffees, but I just want to say that you should go to Italy just to try a slice of pizza. It's definitely worth it.

Face skincare routine

So today, I would like to share some of facial skincare routine and review a little bit the products that I'm using.
Probably I should start with my facial wash. So now I'm all into Hesperidis Normalizing&Regulating Purity Face Wash from Fresh Line. As I have combination skin with a lot of oilness at my nose, this product works great for me. I always like trying some new products or cosmetic lines, so I purchased this naturally friendly washer. Among the ingredients you will not find any preservatives or silicones. While using it you don't feel any aroma in it, just a slight scent of lemon, so you believe it's made out of herbs and plants that protect skin. Another important thing is that you don't feel dry out after using it. Fresh Line Cosmetics is purely Greek brand, all the products are made in Greece. They have quite big range of things for face skincare, hair protection and body pampering. So I'm really excited to try some products of this brand.

    My new absolutely favourite day cream Clinique Superdefense with SPF 20 for combination oily to oily type of skin. I purchased it quite recently and so far I'm in love with it. I use it straight after washing my face and it creates this great feeling of freshness and moisturising together. I love Clinique skincare and make up products, could say I've tried a bunch.

    Another best friend of my skin KenzoKi Energisant which I use up for the third time. This is like a product from another world. It has this slight scent which makes you feel so delighted. It's so fresh and moustirising. I love using it especially in winter, when my skin gets dry, cause in summer I feel like it's a bit too oily for me. Unfortunately, cannot find this line in Greece, so I or my mom purchases this little buddy when in Spain. It's quite pricey product, but I think it's worth the money.

The last thing I wanted to mention in this post is the Face Mask by H&M Raspberry Smoothie Pore Cleansing Mask. I tried few things from H&M skincare line and they were not so bad. Before I was using  the mask from this line with dead sea minerals, and I definitely liked that one more than this one. It just dried my skin off, I didn't see my pores cleaned, the skin went red and even I put the moisturiser right after still I was feeling the way too dry. I don't want to say that this is very bad product, it's just not for me. As I mentioned the other one I liked very much, so I believe I will keep looking and exploring.
