The most used this month

Hello beauties:)

As I mentioned in my last post I have some changes in life what I'm absolutely happy about. I finally found a job I like very much and feel that my targets and dreams are coming true.
It's really hard to find some time for blogging cause I spend the way too many hours at work... But I'm going to find that time to do the thing I enjoy.
I haven't been using much make up, I was reaching mostly for natural look. On top for me was my Inglot  AMC Cream Foundation, which can last and stay in place for many hours. As I mentioned in my Inglot products and reviews post, this foundation makes my skin flawless, covers my imperfections and has very light texture. The disadvantage I noticed these days is that it cannot take the heat. If the day is hot (quite often in Greece this time of the year) the foundation melts and makes me look shiny. So I'm on a hunt for a product that can stand the hot weather and have some SPF. Can you recommend me something?
The only concealer I am using now is Estee Lauder Ideal Light Brush-on Illuminator. It is very good. It's light but thick enough to cover my dark circles. It lasts for all day and is not afraid of heat. I believe Estee Lauder stops producing this product...That's a pity.
For my cheeks I cannot get enough of Clinique Cheek pop. Pretty, pretty, pretty! The packaging, the colour, formula and lasting power are amazing. It's not crazy pigmented which I like about the blush. I can easily build it up to the intensity I want.
The brush of the month for me was Kiko Face 107. I use it for blending my foundation and it's great. It is just perfect pair with my Inglot foundation, the finish is super flawless.
I clean my brushes with Sephora Daily Make up Brush Cleaner (my full review here) almost every day now. My skin has some break outs now, so I'm more careful about cleaning my brushes in a proper way with shampoos, but this spray is perfect for every day. I'm sure now I will repurchase it.
Mascara of the last few weeks was my newly discovered Inglot False Lash Effect Mascara. Just great, stays all day, doesn't fall off or anything. The volume I was looking for I found in this one, there is no need for me to purchase an expensive mascara any more.
Before running my giveaway with bareMinerals eyeshadow duos I had to buy one for myself... And I fell in love with the colours and texture. Minty green and deep brown are just perfect, very buildable and looking very natural on the lids. It's easy to create a beautiful look with only these 2 colours. The pigmentation is amazing.

I'm looking forward for your comments and opinions. Thank you for reading.

My little life update

Hello beauties:)

I'm so sorry I was not writing anything here for about 2 weeks. I started new job, moved and not really have any access to Internet... I guess my adapting period is almost over, so I will be blogging like usual few times a week.

I would like to share my new place, cause it's one of the most beautiful corners of Greece and a famous resort. It's Porto Carras.

My new beauty posts are coming soon as beauty is everywhere and inspiration in the air...
Thank you, my darlings, for understanding

6 months of blogging and 6 reasons why I'm doing it

Hello beauties:)

It's been 6 months since I started blogging and I feel proud that I'm still doing it. I am so impatient that I usually quit everything good I start. I want to share with you my top 6 reasons why I'm so much into blogging.

Make up addiction

I've always had a lot of cosmetics. I never felt sorry to spend on Dior lipstick or foundation, there is always Chanel perfume in my collection... I just never thought to share it with others, I feel very happy that I finally started blog and not only writing reviews on brands' sites.

Communication

I love chatting about make up, beauty, fashion, travels... And that's what blogging gives - you find people from all over the world with the same interests, different opinions and similar targets. I love seeing people commenting on my posts, agreeing or disagreeing with me, making me more happy about what I'm doing.

Writing&Reading

Writing was always my thing and blogging lets me write the way I like, the way I see it... Probably I make a lot of mistakes cause English is not my native language, but I learn and feel free to use the words I want.
To tell you the truth I was not reading many blogs before I started to blog myself. But now I follow and read so many wonderful blogs from all around the planet.

Photographing

I am far away from being professional at photography. But I know for sure that I love this thing and definitely I'm better now from the point I was when I started. Getting interested in photographing made me learn a lot and I hope to learn more. I finally learnt some things about Photoshop and some other editing places.

Patience&Confidence

These are the things I don't have enough. But I believe blogging helps me with them. I don't find it a trouble any more to sit and write for an hour or read a book without checking my Facebook every 10 minutes. I'm not scared to press that scary button Publish like I was before.

Hobby

And still blogging is just a hobby for me. Maybe one day it will become a business for me, but at the moment - it's just another thing I like doing. And it combines everything I mentioned above that I absolutely love.

I hope you all have a beautiful sunny day. Thank you for stopping by:)

My destination wishlist #1

Hello beauties:)

Hope you are fine. As I was mentioning before I spend as much time for travelling as I can afford, I believe travelling is one of the best thing in life that can happen. Unfortunately now I cannot afford as many trips as I would like to, so I'm spending time on planning my next trips, looking for destinations, inspirations and impressions. I wanted to share with you some of my top destinations I hope to visit soon. There so many of them for me so I decided to do my posts in some parts and mention only the top ones. In today's post I want to share my top 3 for America.

America (and North and South)

USA

On my top from American continent is to visit USA, cannot really say which place first. It is so huge with such variety of landscapes and skyscrapers. Every corner has something interesting I believe, and the snows of Alaska and the desert of Colorado.
If I ever get the chance to have a road trip around the States, that would be great. If no, and my wishlist must shrink, definitely I will leave there cities like New York and San Francisco, for nature landscapes - Yellowstone National park and beaches of Hawaii.

Peru

I've been doing some research about Peru back at my university years, and I was really impressed of the heritage this country has. On my top, of course, is Machu Picchu, one of the seven wonders of New World, the amazing centre of Inca civilisation. It is not the only place of Peru that is worth visiting, country preserved the most unique examples of ancient American architecture and engineering.

Dominican Republic

Who is not dreaming about some relaxing holidays on the beach in paradise? That's how I see the Caribbean islands, like the most exotic and beautiful place on Earth. Definitely, it's not only Dominican Republic that I would like to visit of all Caribbean islands, but Dominican Republic is famous for that mixture of cultures, historical heritage and highly developed tourism industry.

I have never visited American continent, but I will go with the first chance that happens and hope to visit these places. What  is on top for you to visit?

Sephora makeup brush cleaner

Hello beauties:)

When it gets to cleaning my makeup brushes I feel so bored (not only me I believe). So during my last visit at Sephora I saw this little bottle which promises to be antibacterial daily brush cleaner with no need to rinse. To be honest the thing that made me buy it was the price, with an offer it was less than 2 euro.

For the lazy person like me it's a great find, it does its job really good. It's very easy to use - after spraying it few times straight into the bristles of the brush I just wipe it with clean piece of cloth or paper towel. It smells quite good - like a pear to me, it has a slight smell of alcohol but it's not annoying or anything. The brushes can be used right after cleaning.
I'm really happy about this purchase, it's very convenient for the mornings when you have no time but you want to be sure your brush is not full of bacteria. Anyway, from time to time I try to clean them more properly - with gentle shampoo and warm water, but for every day I love this spray!

What do you use to clean your brushes? Thank you for stopping by:)

Spring make up routine

Hello beauties:)

I don't usually go extreme and totally change my make up game from winter to summer, but with the temperature and mood change comes the need for some pastels, flowers and nudes...

The bases for me stay the same - things I can rely on. I don't use a primer, cannot explain why, probably still didn't find the right one for me. For foundation I'm using my Inglot Cream Foundation, getting really obsessed with it. To prime my eyes and erase some blue veins - Kiko Eye Base - my best friend. I mentioned it before and will mention it probably thousand more times - this is the best and the cheapest eye primer, it holds through heat or cold or rain all day.

For the eyes I'm using a slight bit of my Kiko bronzer and then go to Bourjois Ombre Stretch in 09 brun nylon which is one of my all time favourite nude shade to use all around my lid. For creating the colour on my eyeball I use loose shimmer eye shadow Suivez mon regard Bourjois in colour 12 rose lilas. To be honest I'm not the biggest fan of this product. The shadow itself is beautiful, it goes smoothly on the lid and doesn't fall off. The colour is pretty also, but the packaging... No, it's not convenient and innovating, it's annoying. It's all plastic pot, even inside with a small hole where sits the small brush on which falls the product from inside. So when I want to get eye shadow on my brush I have to put it in that hole and hope I'll get something out... Probably all of it sounds ridiculous, who had it or saw it would understand me:) I got it as a present and I like it, but not for every day.
I don't want to use any eye liners, I just cover my lashes with a bit of mascara and at the moment I use Inglot False Lash Effect Mascara. I actually like it very and very much.

I recently got 2 new little friends - Estee Lauder Ideal Light Brush-on Illuminator and Clinique Cheek pop blush. These are so spring and refreshing make up products. The blush is very hyped in the blogging world and I understand why. First - the packaging, is there anything more cute than this bright flower in the pot? I feel sorry to use it... The shade I have - 02 peach pop is the most beautiful peach blush out there. It is such a pleasure to apply it - it's very smooth and buildable. And yes, it lasts all day and stays in the right place.
The illuminator brightens up my under eye area, refreshes the look. It's quite thick so it helps to conceal the dark circles I always have. It also lasts all day, stays in place and doesn't crease.

For my eyebrows, of course, I'm using Kiko precision eyebrow pencil and bronzing with my favourite at the moment Kiko bronzing powder. For the lips - YSL Rouge Volupte in shade 8. The last but not the least note is the perfume. And I choose Coco Mademoiselle.

So this is the look I've been reaching for. I like it to be light peachy-pink with warm bronzer all around (Please excuse me for my hair, it's not super fresh). It's super easy and fast, appropriate for informal walks and working or studying moments.
I hope you liked this kind of post, please let me know in the comments. Thank you for stopping by:)

Inglot products + reviews

Hello beauties:)

Hope you are all well. I am enjoying first really warm days and shopping new make up (I cannot help it). So I recently paid a visit to Inglot and picked 2 things - foundation and mascara.

Inglot is a brand I heard only good about, the youtubers and beauty bloggers from all over the world swear by their products. The brand is Polish and is about 30 years old. It was founded in a small town, very close to Ukraine and to the place I was born. I feel like it's something native to me and I have to support it. The store I went is very nice with beautiful and helpful ladies inside. I really enjoyed the service, as my experience shows I don't always like the shop-assistants at some cosmetic stores.

Foundation is my favourite part of make up. It can make the great base for the whole look or just destroy it. So usually I am very careful at choosing one. The one I got is called Cream Foundation in shade LC 100. It's very light-weight, easy to blend and matches my skin perfectly. I was using it every day during the last week and this foundation impressed me in a good way. The first impression was kind of failure cause I think I applied too much and it caked, but the next times with less of a product it stayed in place all day and made me feel beautiful.

So that's me with just 2 drops of the foundation applied with a beauty sponge. I believe it's very nice and natural. I'm still not sure how it will deal with heat cause I'm planning to use it in summer, hope it's going to be good enough.

False Lash Effect Mascara is a very good find. It's hard for me to find a mascara that can really impress me, to be honest this one didn't make feel wow. but I do like it more than many others. It's easy to apply and easy to take off - which became one of the most important thing in a mascara to me. I'm tired of weird shaped brushes and the formulas that no make up remover can remove. The brush is nothing special which again I like.

As you can see it does pretty good job, gives volume to the lashes and doesn't clump. But the most important for me - it does stay all day long on the lashes, no pieces fall off around my eyes. That's just great.

And probably the most pleasant part is that there was -25% going on. That fact made prices more beautiful, so the foundation was around 16 and mascara 11 euros. Unfortunately, I have no opportunity at the moment to visit Poland cause I know it's even cheaper there.

I do enjoy using Inglot products and think they are great quality for this price, cannot wait to visit them again and buy some more things.
Have you tried any Inglot products? What do you think about them? Thank you for stopping at my blog:) Happy Easter

Versace Red Jeans

Hello beauties:)

I hope you are all fine and enjoying beautiful April. I was not blogging for a while and missed it very much. I would like to share with you today my thoughts on Versace Red Jeans EdT. I did mentioned it before in my February favourites, but I believe it deserves the post on its own.

First, the packaging I find great. I adore this metal pack where the bottle is. I simply enjoy looking at it on my table, the red makes a contrast with usual pastel colours in my room.

It's very hard thing to describe the scent with words, and I think different people feel it differently. The fragrance itself is what is called powdery. Before whenever I was hearing such a description I couldn't imagine the scent. But from the first try I would say: yes, it is powdery. I'm not good at understanding the top notes or base notes, on the website I found that it has for top notes - apricot, peach and freesia. I believe I feel freesia mostly, cause it seems to me florally. The peach or apricot - no.

And one of the most important things - for me it lasts the same as Chanel or Dior EdT, I've seen many reviews where people say that it's not lasting, but on me it lasts! And I love the way it smells on my skin, cause it's also quite personal, the scent seems different from what it is in the bottle.

And yes, it is inexpensive, I got it for 20 euro and that makes me happy.
Have you ever tried any Versace perfumes? What is your favourite fragrance at the moment? Please let me know.

What the sweet dreams are made of

Hello beauties:)

Today I wanted to share with you the favourite part of my house, the part where I spend most hours of my day...my bedroom. Bed is the place to get rid of all negative emotions you might get through the day, to forget, to get rested and imagine that perfect life we dream about. Everybody who has enough and good sleep is much more happier and healthier. So, my bedroom and my bed are very important to me.
I keep my bedroom quite simple, I believe less is more. I prefer light colours for the house in general, my bedroom gets some sunlight, but I wish it was more. The walls are light green, the bed is white and the beddings I have are mostly white or beige. The bedding plays probably the most important role in relaxation process, it must be clean, soft and made out of natural materials. I prefer organic cotton and linen. I recently discovered luxury Parachute bedding (Parachute bedding) which is made from high quality cotton by the best Italian masters. And, of course, the price is very reasonable.

I am a fan of shabby chic, and as I live in the big house outside of the city I think it fits perfectly. The house is quite old and most of the rooms are full of old and sometimes antique things. As you can see I have 2 pictures of roses above the bed which I like very much. My photo frame is also shabby chic and my favourite picture in it.
One of the most  precious and valuable piece is the cover. It's absolutely hand made by my lovely mother. I cannot imagine how patient you must be to create something like that.
I always have candles in the room, scented and simple, bigger and smaller, different coloured ones. I burn them and feel happier:)

Another detail of the room that I absolutely adore is this lamp. I got it from Ikea around a year ago. I believe it fits perfectly into this interior. And of course carpet is something you definitely need for winter. I got this fluffy friend as a present, and now I cannot imagine my room without it.

My wardrobe is really vintage, or at least very old. But I like it. I keep most of my clothes in my bedroom (that I wear at this time of year). Sometimes I think I want to buy new wardrobe that can fit more staff, but after I think I do like this one:)

And also I keep my beauty items in my bedroom. Not all, but many. I have a small white table in the corner and usually I put my favourite make up, skincare and perfume items on it. For me the must is to have at least one flower in the room, at the moment I'm enjoying a red tulip.

I can spend hours checking Pinterest for new interior ideas. Looking at my board you can understand that I'm a big fan of shabby chic, flowers and light coloured rooms.
Did you like my post? What is your favourite thing about bedroom? Thank you for stopping by:)

On a sad day

Hello beauties:)

I hope you are good. I'm a bit of disappointed because of the weather at my place. Is it only here in Northern Greece like this? Where is the warm spring in sunny Greece?
After 3 years living here, this was definitely the coldest winter and now...come on, spring:)

So, on a sad Sunday there is still a need of going out and having fun. On a day like that I decided to wear a blue knitted sweater from Pull&Bear. I feel great wearing this, so pretty and sexy. This grey day will not ruin it.

I wish you all a lot of sun this spring:)

Review: Insta Natural Youth Express Eye Gel

Hello Beauties:)

I wanted to share with you on this sunny day my recent discovery and probably new love from Insta Natural - Youth Express Eye Gel. I didn't purchase this product on my own, I was lucky to get it from the company for what I'm really grateful. But my review and opinion are absolutely honest, I'm not paid for writing good words about this gel on my blog.

The packaging is quite simple. But one of the best features of this product, in my opinion, is that it comes with a pump. I really enjoy using creams with pumps, I hate putting my fingers in the pot every time, thanks for pump Insta Natural!!!

The texture of the product is obviously gel. Usually I don't go for gel products cause they leave that disgusting sticky feeling. But not this one. This gel leaves the smoothing and soothing feeling on my skin.

If to talk about the main purpose of this product - help to reduce wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness - it does its job good. I did noticed my bad dark circles got less visible and in general my eye area looks more rested. I tried to put it all over my face instead of my usual moisturiser and it made the job very good. My skin became smooth, nice and moisturised.

The bottle has 50 ml which is huge for eye product. That's why I will use it as a day cream. I do recommend this product for those who is looking for light weight gel to use all over the face. It's perfect for my combination skin. I'm very careful with new products cause I get break outs very easily, this gel didn't break me out or what so ever. I do appreciate that this product is very natural, has no strong scent and was not animal tested.

Please check it out on Amazon here cause it's very inexpensive alternative for every day skincare.

Honey hair

Hello beauties!

Today I wanted to share with you some of my hair care products that I absolutely love. These are conditioner and spray-conditioner from L'Oreal Elvive Re-Nutrition line.

I want to start with the spray...I use it almost every day and love it. It makes my hair soft, shiny and the most important it helps brushing a lot! I have thin hair which gets hard to brush, this thing after spraying a bit - makes the brushing easy...and of course the scent is incredible. It has royal jelly and the smell I would describe as honey like but not too sweet and annoying,  just as it has to be - a real pleasure to feel it on the hair. It doesn't feel heavy at all, which is usually hard to find among drug store spray-conditioners.

The conditioner is pretty good. Again, it smells amazing in my opinion and does its main purpose - softens and nourishes my hair. The texture is creamy, but quite thick so a little goes a long way.

I recommend to try out this line for everybody, it does good job for its price. I believe this is my favourite Elvive (or Elseve) line. I keep going back to it for many years now. The shampoo is good as well, I was using it a while ago, at the moment I use some other shampoos.

Have you tried this line? What is your opinion?
Thank you for visiting my blog:)

Nails Inc. Worth the price?

Hello my beauties:)

Today I wanted to share with you 2 nail polishes from Nails Inc. This is not my recent purchase, I own them for quite a while as now these polishes come also in different packaging.

I have 2 summery shades - Haymarket (the teal) and Floral street (the white), the colours are absolutely stunning for me. The formula is great, thick, goes smoothly and there is no need for second coat. What I love the most about these nail polishes is the lasting power. It holds up very well for at least one week without top coat.

What I don't like about these polishes is the brush. It's a way too big, so it makes super uncomfortable to apply it. Also I noticed that after some time the bristles of the brush become like even more "fluffy" and harder to control, so I started to apply the polish with a random small brush that I had (maybe I just have too small nails and it's only me who finds it inconvenient to apply). Still I would prefer the brush to be smaller.
And of course the price... I am not the person who spends crazy money on nail polishes, to me 15 euro for a bottle is quite a lot. But as a conclusion I want to say that it's worth it. It's a great nail polish and the bottle will last - it doesn't dry out, and as I mentioned one coat is absolutely enough for a rich colour look. I think it's a good investment.

Have you tried Nails Inc? What do you think about it?

February favourites

Hello my beauties:) I wish you all to have a wonderful March and spring full of flowers and sunshine!

The shortest month of the year passed really fast, so spring finally... Today I want to share the beauty products I've been reaching and loving mostly through February.

From make up items I wanted to mention Kiko Velvet Mat Lipstick. Matte lipsticks are ruling now I believe, especially the ones that go smoothly and do not dry the lips. This lipstick is one of them. First thing which took my attention was the packaging, it's very different and beautiful. The shade I have is 613 - pink carnation. The formula and pigmentation is great. My only issue - I would like it to last little bit longer.
Liquid eyeliner from Body Shop was my every day must last month. It dries instantly, easy to apply and easy to take off.
Another product from Kiko Cosmetics - Brozer Powder. It looks very natural on the skin, helps to get some warmth to the face at winter time. I have the shade 104 Cinnamon which is great for my quite pale complexion. The range has 6 shades, so everybody can find the most suitable bronzer.

Perfume of the month for me was Versace Red Jeans. Absolutely love it as an everyday scent. The packaging is so adorable and different. I know that there are many people that don't like this perfume, but I do like the way it feels on me, the way it stays for the whole day or even 2 days. It's a fruity - floral scent with the top notes of peach, apricot and freesia.
For the hair care I've been loving The Body Shop Grapeseed Glossing Serum. This is one of the best oils for hair. It does its job as moisturiser and provides hair with beautiful shine. It's a must have for me during the whole year. I usually leave it for some hours and then wash my hair only with shampoo, without any masks or conditioners.
For the body moisturiser mostly I was using Sephora Coconut body butter. I just love everything coconut related. This body butter is great moisturiser and it smells fantastic. The smell doesn't disappear instantly, so after using it I feel myself a coconut all day or night long:)

Have you tried any of these products? What were your favourites during last month? Please let me know in the comments:)

My small Italian pleasures

Hello my lovely readers:)
While in Italy I couldn't resist...I had to buy some Italian accessories. The discount tag helped a lot and the prices were very pleasant.

I was very lucky to find Heritage sunnies with a beautiful price - 40 euros. The glasses are very classic, black and polarised. Love them a lot, they suit me good.

This purse is my new love. Like most of the women in this world I am obsessed with all kinds of handbags. As in Italy I really wanted to get a designer bag, but I didn't. Rome is full of traditional Italian leather goods shops. I picked this beautiful Italian baby for only 65 euros.
I can wear it on any occasion, with a classic dress or sport style. It's not very spacious, but the most important things can fit.

Italian leather shoes. Pretty, soft and amazingly comfortable. Again something very classic, so can fit with everything. With these little friends I'm not afraid to walk kilometres around. This find cost me 55 euros.

Thank you for stopping and visiting my blog, I do appreciate that:)

Witchcraft couture (book review)

   Hello my beautiful readers:)
Today I wanted to share with you my thoughts about the book I've read recently. And it's 'Witchcraft couture' by Katarina West.
I'm not a big fan of reading, and to make me read a book, the idea must be brilliant. And what can I say, the idea of this one is absolutely brilliant. It is very easy to read as it's written with simple words and expressions and it can keep the reader stuck to it.
The story tells us about the Italian fashion designer Oscar Pellegrini who is passing one of his many creative crisis. He works for a fashion house Marisa Marchetti in Florence, which is at the moment operated by his ex Sarah. He must create the next collection...but instead of doing that he buys a ticket and goes to Russia. After getting involved into different troubles he ends up in Finland without passport, money and his clothes but with a very precious souvenir - magical machine (looks like fridge) that can make any kind of ugly clothes glow. With this thing he finally can become a successful designer and get everything he desired for so many years.
Eventually he returns to Italy and designs his own collection, with a help of machine the clothes he makes becomes truly divine and any woman that wears it - the most wanted in the world. But there is a price he has to pay...Oscar becomes obsessed with the fridge, he cannot leave it alone, he doesn't trust anybody, he thinks the clothes is alive and hunts him... Is this a true evil that helps him? Is all this just his imagination? Did he make the collection only with a help of his talent? Or did he actually sell his soul to the devil?
The whole book is like Oscar's diary, so through the book I could feel and see how he thinks and what brings him to these actions.
Now I think I understand even better how bad is not have any self-confidence and how important is to take care of people you love, not the things. If you love everything fashion related and Italy related this book is definitely for you. 'Witchcraft Couture' can take you out of daily routine and bring to that magical world of shining dresses, expensive shoes, Italian and Finnish landscape fairy-tales.

Thank you beautiful Katarina West for this magical book. Please visit the site of this talented writer http://www.katarinawest.com/ and her blog http://www.katarinawest.com/things_I_know_about_life
My darlings, don't lose the fantastic opportunity to get this book for 0,99p on Amazon (link here) in February.
